PROBLEM: When a user sends a command to the printer and nothing prints.
SOLUTION:
- WRKWTR *ALL and write the beginning of the printer name (e.g. : XLAS)
- Write 4 on the printer line and press F4
- Choose *IMMED
- ENTER
Write wrkcfgsts *dev PRINTER.NAME (It is very important to make a space between each word. E.g. : wrkcfgsts_*dev_XLASCONT02)
Write 1 (START)
If the procedure above does not work, try the following steps:
- WRKWTR *ALLand write the beginning of the printer name (e.g. : XLAS)
- Write 4 on the printer line and press F4
- Choose *IMMED
- ENTER
- Write wrkcfgsts *dev PRINTER.NAME (It is very important to make a space between each word. E.g. : wrkcfgsts_*dev_XLASCONT02)
Choose VARIED OFF (option 2)
Then choose VARIED ON (option 1)
WRKWTR *ALL and write the beginning of the printer name (e.g. : XLAS)
Write 1 (START)
